Cuban cigars are a tradition that goes back for almost five hundred years. Cuban cigars are the biggest export for Cuba after the Cuban Coffee. What makes this tradition so great and unique? Well Cuban cigars have been shrouded in mist since they were first brought to the known world by the Europeans. Did you know the man who discovered the land we know as the United States of America discovered Cuban cigars too.

They were shocked on how what an amazing discovery Cuban cigars is. Soon it only got better as Tobacco became more important to modern civilization than gold or silver. The value of Tobacco and in general Cuban tobacco was something you just couldn’t wrap your head around. Even today, in the United States of America and many other countries, their are various government bodies that control the distribution and management of Tobacco.

However, only a selected few have had the pleasure of enjoying it. Cuban cigars now come in different shapes and sizes such as the ‘torpedo’ and the ever so popular and loved the ‘Corona’. In fact, my personal favorite is size is the Robusto. I feel like it’s just perfect because it usually takes about fifty minutes to smoke it and the construction of my personal favorite, the Cohiba Robusto is phenomenal.

The flavors and aromas are so complex so complicated in a Cuban cigars that you actually need to develop your own palette. So many cigar enthusiasts and cigar aficionados have meetings just so they can all get together and discuss Cuban cigars. Add some scotch to the mix and you got yourself a great time. Some brands you should start yourself of is the Fonseca, Montecristo and if you really think you deserve it, than go for the Cohiba.

Their is so much to learn when it comes to Cuban cigars, I say go to your library or your local cigar store and start learning. It is a beautiful product with some amazing history behind it. Did I mention that Cuban cigars are the best smokes in the world?
